Our new prototype Mitochondriak® UV Portable is a unique device designed to “supplement” indoor lighting with red, near-infrared and even UV light.
Mitochondriak® UV Portable is a patented LED panel prototype that also includes UV light.
Portable, practical, battery-powered, with minimal EMF. Suitable as a portable supplemental indoor light source and for local therapy. The panel allows you to set virtually any pulsing frequency from 1 to 10,000 Hz or continual mode without flicker.

What makes Mitochondriak® UV Portable unique

Wavelengths in the Mitochondriak® UV Portable panel
We are one of the few to include 760 and 900 nm - why
Because we want to support your mitochondria and energy production to the maximum.
Our new Mitochondriak® devices include 3 wavelengths in the RED spectrum (including 760 nm) and 3 in the NIR spectrum. The reason is Cytochrome C oxidase, complex IV in mitochondria, which helps produce deuterium-depleted water.
RLT researcher Tina Karu describes action peaks in the red to near-infrared range: 620, 680, 760 and 820 nm, which she links to absorption spectra of “redox-active centers” of cytochrome c oxidase.

Our workplaces and homes, where most of us spend a large part of life, are almost completely deprived of UV light and largely also of red and near-infrared. Let’s change that.
Mitochondriak® UV Portable is designed to be as practical as possible for everyday use. You can place it anywhere indoors, in your office, on a bedside table, and use it as needed.
It is battery-powered, therefore safe, with no flicker and minimal EMF. It is portable and you can even hold it in your hand for local therapy (e.g., illuminating veins on the arm/leg) to support nitric oxide production or support mitochondria and water production in the targeted tissue.

- Battery indicator on the panel.
- Pulsing - you can set any frequency from 1 to 10,000 Hz (we also pre-set some pulsing modes and suggested uses).
Battery and charging
- You can use the panel on the cable or on battery.
- Full charge takes 3 to 4 hours.
- Battery life per charge: 0,5 to 1 hour (depending on UV usage).
How to use the Mitochondriak® UV Portable panel
1. Red light therapy
Turn on RED/NIR or both and expose from a distance of 15 to 30 cm for 10 to 30 minutes.
- Deeper tissues may require more time, while surface areas require less.
- You can hold the panel in your hands (when it’s not connected to the outlet) and treat a local area, move it slowly to cover a larger area, or place it on a table.
2. Use as supplemental lighting in an office or indoors
If you spend a lot of time in an office or indoors and can’t be outside, you can use the prototype as supplemental lighting. You can also switch on NIR only, so the light is not visible.
- Place the panel further from the body at least 100 cm (more is fine). We recommend pointing it toward a wall or corner to diffuse the light via reflection. In this mode, we recommend using the panel on the cable in the outlet.
3. Using UV light - circadian rhythm and non-visual photoreceptors
UV light is mainly useful to support nitric oxide release and to stimulate certain non-visual photoreceptors (opsins), such as OPN5 - neuropsin, which help regulate our circadian rhythm.
- We do not recommend using UV light on its own.
- Always combine UV with NIR (ideally RED/NIR).
- If you want to use UV, make sure the panel is charged so you don’t have to hold it while it’s plugged into the outlet.
- Turn on RED/NIR, set the timer to 5 to 10 minutes, then switch on UV.
- Hold the panel by the stand from the back and move it slowly over the body from at least 10 cm distance for about 5 minutes.
- Per session, we recommend turning UV on max. 1-2 times (total max. 10 minutes).
- Avoid the face and eyes. If you treat the area around the eyes, use protective glasses and consult your doctor (especially with sensitive skin).
