How much light actually reaches your skin? With the Mitochondriak® Profi we don't guess, we measure. The Mitochondriak® Profi is a large RED/NIR panel for home, gyms, wellness and professional recovery spaces. At 120 × 42 cm and with 560 LEDs it covers a large part of the body at once.

We don't guess, we measure. As a Slovak manufacturer, we measured the Mitochondriak® Profi panel on 29 October 2026 in Mitochondriak Lab with two certified spectrometers, a solar meter and EMF meters, including flicker and pulsation. We measured at 30, 50 and 70 cm. The recommended distance is 50 to 60 cm. 30 cm is the reference point at which intensity is usually stated on the market.
- At 50 cm (recommended distance): 65.0 mW/cm² from the spectrometers, 99.6 mW/cm² on the solar meter
- At 30 cm (market reference point): 69.7 mW/cm² from the spectrometers, 120.8 mW/cm² on the solar meter
- At 50 cm red 24.6 mW/cm² and near-infrared 40.4 mW/cm², of which the 940 nm band 12.2 mW/cm²
- Flicker: zero flicker, fluctuation 1.1 to 2.1%, flicker index 0.00
- EMF: magnetic field 0.1 µT at 30 cm – background level, electric field 0 V/m
Why two numbers? A solar meter is calibrated to sunlight and shows more than the spectrometers for narrow LED bands, and it also sees the 940 nm band. Most sellers only quote the solar meter. We quote both: the solar meter for comparison with the market and the spectrometers as the real spectral intensity.
For comparison: on 29 October 2026 at around 3 pm, the same solar meter measured 91.6 mW/cm² in direct sunlight. In the red and near-infrared range (600–1,100 nm) that is about 56.5 mW/cm², and at 50 cm the Mitochondriak® Profi delivers 115% of this dose (calculated from the measurement), without UV or blue light.
Zero flicker: Our panels really do not flicker. Measurements with two independent certified spectrometers confirm it (see the measurement photos and the protocol). The percentage fluctuation is 1.1 to 2.1%, a very small fluctuation, similar to sunlight, and the flicker index is 0.00. The UPRtek CV600 shows a frequency of 1 Hz because it cannot display zero; the OHSP-350UVF displays 0. Behind this is the quality of the drivers, which we tested and selected repeatedly.
Pulsation is optional. You can switch it off or set any value from 0 to 10,000 Hz, including decimals, separately for RED and NIR. At 10 Hz (the frequency of alpha waves) and 100 Hz we measured a fluctuation of 96 to 100% and an index of 0.46 to 0.47: the LEDs really switch on and off (PWM), so the average intensity is about half. It is an option for those who want to work with the frequency of light.
Why so many? The sun does not shine in a single colour. In the morning and evening it brings mainly red and near-infrared light, and each wavelength reaches a different tissue depth. That is why the Profi combines 7 LED types in the red and near-infrared range, so the energy of light gets to where the mitochondria work.
The LEDs are not distributed 1 : 1. We chose the ratio of LED types according to the biological effectiveness of each wavelength, so some bands overlap in the spectrum and have no separate peak. All 7 LED types (630, 670, 760, 810, 830, 850 and 940 nm) still shine together in the panel.
RED (red light): 630, 670 nm

The recommended distance is 50 to 60 cm or more. The Profi covers a large part of the body at once; for the whole body simply turn around.
- Start with 2 to 5 minutes and increase the time gradually.
- Surface areas (skin and complexion): 5 to 10 minutes.
- Deeper areas (muscles, joints, back, abdomen): 10 to 30 minutes.
- Use it 5 to 7 times a week, ideally in the morning or after training.
- Keep your eyes closed or wear protective glasses during the session.
- Pulsation is optional. With pulsation the average intensity is about half, so you can extend the time accordingly.
Setup: place the panel in a floor stand on a firm, level floor or use an adjustable stand, plug it in and switch it on.
Silent mode: switch off the tap sound in the function settings with the "volume" button.
Remember one thing: better regularly and from 50 to 60 cm than rarely and up close.
